Dr. Nadia Saeed is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Sciences at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the National University of Computer & Emerging Sciences (FAST-NUCES) and has over six years of research experience in Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning, and Biomedical Informatics.

Her research focuses on Large Language Models (LLMs), Clinical and Biomedical NLP, medical question answering, biomedical text summarization, diagnostic error detection, multimodal learning, and trustworthy AI for healthcare. Her work combines AI and NLP techniques to address challenging problems in healthcare, biomedical information processing, and clinical decision support.

Dr. Saeed has published in international journals and conference/workshop proceedings, including Knowledge and Information Systems, Frontiers in Molecular Biosciences, and the ClinicalNLP Workshop. She has also achieved competitive results in international shared tasks, including 2nd place in MEDIQA-CORR 2024, 12th place in PerAnsSumm 2025, and 13th place in MEDIQA-M3G 2024.

In addition to research, she is actively involved in undergraduate and graduate teaching, Final Year Project supervision, research mentoring, academic assessment, and interdisciplinary AI research.
