Cloud DevOps

Objectives: The main objective of the course is to develop skills for seamlessly integrating DevOps practices within a cloud environment. The students will be able to describe DevOps related concepts like Infrastructure as Code (IaC), IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. Students will be able to utilize popular DevOps tools like Git, Configuration Management tools, and Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Students will be able to use tools for monitoring DevOps services.

Contents: Working with Linux (installation, using linux commands, setting environment variables, etc.); Basic concepts of DevOps; Comparison of Open Source Solutions for DevOps; Understanding Version Control Systems (staging, committing, branching, etc.); Working with Containers (portability, isolation, resource efficiency); Continuous Integration (streamlining deployment process); Continuous Deployment; Infrastructure as a Code; DevOps Monitoring; DevOps Configuration; DevOps Security.
