Software Interaction Design

Objectives: The objective of the course is to give a basic knowledge of interaction design and its various components. The course mainly focuses on the usability of the interaction design for a better user experience of software-based products. The main objective is to train students to design usable software interactions. In the course, the students will practice designing, instantiation, and evaluation of usable software products.
Contents: Interaction design basics; interaction design elements; interaction design dimensions; software products usability aspects; user experience design; design-thing-process; user interface components; design layouts; navigation design; user interface design; usable interaction design; interaction design patterns; usable product design; interaction design instantiation and evaluation.
