Objectives: Advanced database models, indexing, transaction processing, query optimization, PL/SQL scripting, distributed databases, MongoDB/NoSQL, and cloud database architectures.
Contents: Introduction to advance data models such as object relational, object oriented. File organizations concepts, Index structures, Transactional processing and Concurrency control techniques, Recovery techniques, Query processing and optimization, Database Programming (PL/SQL, T-SQL or similar technology), Integrity and security, Database Administration (Role management, managing database access, views), Physical database design and tuning, Distributed database systems, Emerging research trends in database systems, MONGO DB, NO SQL (or similar technologies), Cloud infrastructures management using robotic data automation (RDA), Oracle Amazon (AWS Database services) and Microsoft (Azure) architectures.
